Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

Unit was great, perfect space for a couple and we were surprised to find out there’s a bit of a water view off the balcony! We honestly loved not having to wait on an elevator. Kitchen was nice and fully stocked, right next to the pool and spa, and everything was perfectly clean. We would definitely stay in this unit again!

Awesome place
We have stayed here twice this year and I highly recommend you stay here also. We was in building 6 on the back of the property and it was quite even though our stays were on memorial and Labor Day weekend. Facility was clean and staff was great!

Cozy Condo with Nice Bay View
This unit was great for my family of three. We had a nice view of the bay. The pool by the community center was just a staircase down from us, and the walk to the beach was easy enough.

We loved our stay here! Bed was comfortable, place was clean and quiet. Perfect for my husband and I. Short walk to the beach. The grounds are very nice, pretty place, and well kept. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Studio Unit
Very pleasant apartment for four-week stay. Bed is excellent, kitchen is large and everything was so clean. Disappointed with tv, which worked very sporadically and needs to be replaced. Also, it would be nice to add a reading lamp. I’d definitely stay here again!

Hidden gem
We’ve been coming to El Matador for a few years, it’s such a wonderful place to bring your family. We’ve never been anything but happy with our rental and the staff! We will be coming down there for years to come!

Unit 627 met all of our needs and the bed and pillows were beyond comfortable and made to hard to want to leave the bed! It was clean, bright, and roomy. The on-site staff were all very friendly and helpful. The beach access from the property was perfect. Even on a busy holiday weekend, the grounds and pools were all well-kept and quiet. Would absolutely recommend staying with El Matador to family and friends!

Really enjoyed my stay. The room had everything I could ask for. Had no problems until check out time. The cleaning people tried to get me out of the room at 8:30. Telling me that I was late checking out. That I had to leave.

We came to celebrate a wedding. This room was perfect. The facility is super clean, quiet and very laid back atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this room and this condo facility. The pool was nice, the beach was amazing. Door dash does not venture to This location but postmate and Uber eats does. No issues with those nor transport to and from airport from our condo. Super comfy bed, perfect size for a couple . Up to date appliances and bathroom. 5 stars from us all around

Wonderful week at El Matador
My daughter and I stayed in a studio unit at El Matador for one week in July 2021. I picked the place because the rest of my extended family was staying at the Bella Riva, which was walking distance. (I didn't want to have to rent an extra car.) But our time at El Matador exceeded my expectations. The unit was charming, spacious, and very clean. (I think we had about as many bath towels as my family did in a 3-bedroom unit!) The sofa and chairs in the living room space were a bit worn, but the king-size mattress in the bedroom space was super comfortable. We spent a great day in the large rectangular pool by our building. (We did not swim in the one near the beach.) I appreciated having the 24/7 guard, and our building (one of the two-story ones) was very quiet. I would definitely return.

Love our little piece of heaven!
We were looking for a little place that was quiet and peaceful and had a good view. Well it is all that but... it has a GREAT view! Management couldn't be nicer! The staff is very responsive if any little thing goes wrong. Everyone is friendly. You will love it here!

wonderful Condo
We loved our stay. The only thing I would add is extra trash bags and dishwasher detergent. However, those are minor things. I wouldn't stay at any other condos. We definitely loved El Matador.

Great Weekend!
We had a wonderful weekend at the beach. Room 627 was the perfect size. It was great to have the pool right outside our room and the tennis courts were right outside our balcony!! We can't wait to get back down to El Matador. I have been staying there off and on for 35 years, now my family comes with me.
