Great unit that is just a short walk to the beautiful beaches of the Emerald Coast. This owner has thought of everything - not only is there a Mr. Coffee and a Keurig coffee maker, there is also a vertical Cuisinart waffle maker. The living room area has a queen size sofa sleeper with a 65” Q70T QLED 4K Samsung Smart TV and a Samsung sound-bar with Dolby Atmos - you’ll feel like you have your own private theater. The bedroom area has a queen Hayden plush mattress by Sealy and an iHome Bluetooth digital alarm clock with dual USB charging. Wonderful Condo
I really enjoyed staying in this studio unit! I loved the modern beach decor and soft colors of it. The kitchen had everything I needed. The walk in shower is very nice and the bed is so comfortable. Definitely will be staying in this unit again. The El Matador complex is beautiful and so well maintained. Very friendly staff and service. Thanks for another great vacation on your beautiful beach!

We used to stay @ the El Matador years ago, but never in this bldg unit. Our stay was great. Very well stocked condo with adequate dishes, appliances and cookware. Ice maker on the fridge worked amazing (my husband is an ice hog)The walk to the beach was not that bad, just the lack of seeing and hearing the ocean was a bit sad for me. Only issue we had was seeing a roach on the 1st and the last day, we killed it. I know in the cold temps, critters find their way inside and with this complex being next to the open field of the base I understand. The unit was very clean and neat.

My husband and I rented a studio size condo.It was well equipped and the perfect size for all our needs. Very clean, 24 hour security, very quiet, definitely for a family of 3 or couples.The fact that we had access to the pool right outside our condo was amazing. The beach access is not a for walk or you can drive and park at the complex for a closer walk. The eateries were near by and Destin right around the corner for more beach activities.We will definitely return soon.

Nice condo!
Condo was lovely! Convenient, quiet and super clean. Kitchen was very well-equipped (even though I didn't get to use it much--very short trip) Loved the pantry with all the extra appliances available. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you, El Matador 611

Small but Fierce
El Matador is our perfect little spot - right in the middle of it all with its own quiet beach. We were hesitant to book this unit because it is so small, but it was nearly perfect. We are used to a king bed or two beds, so the bed was a little small but we got over it. You definitely need to bring your own hair dryer, paper towels, (4+ days) an extra toilet paper, and some dish soap.

Cute and Convenient
We stayed in Unit 611 as a small family of 4, including 2 little children. It was the perfect size. Short 5 minute walk to the private beach, which was also very clean and not too crowded. My only grievance is that when we opened up the pull-out couch, there was a lot of sand on the mattress. There wasn't a vacuum in the unit for us to use, so we just put a blanket on top of it. There are also not a lot of things included- no hair dryer, no water kettle. There are, however, all the pots and pans you will need along with tupperware if you need to pack some snacks for the beach. We utilized the Keurig for or morning coffee everyday. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely stay here again!

Better than advertised.
As a more mature couple celebrating our 24th anniversary weekend, we were looking for something not in the middle of the chaos of the boardwalk. Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised. The studio room we had was more than big enough, thoroughly cleaned and a super comfy bed. It was also on the ground floor which was wonderful as I use a walker. Our only complaint was they didn't get our order for unlimited sunshine :)
