The master bedroom has a king size bed while the guest bedroom has a queen size bed. The sofa sleeper in the living room will accommodate two allowing this unit to sleep 6 people comfortably. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

unit has been remodeled fresh paint and new furniture been staying at that unit 7 of the 8 years we have been coming to Florida the one year was cause of the remodel just that unit

Great property!
My family loved staying here! We loved watching the sail boats going in and out. We loved the sunset and sunrise views. The heated pool was so close to us! We love all the remodeling this owner has done. This place is amazing!

I would stay here again.
Our stay was great. The only thing I would change is that I think towels should be provided instead of having only 2 sets for 8 days and the lounge was supposed to be open for use as long as it wasn't rented however there were many days it was locked and not being used.

I enjoyed my stay at the El matador. I really enjoyed my unit. But the owner really needs to place a bigger TV in the family room. At least a 40in. The security guard with the braids is really sweet. She makes you feel welcome. I will return, I would like my same unit 561. But with a bigger TV lol.

The room was very nice as well as all the pools an spa room. Only problem we had was we has no cable the whole time the security said to try and unplug then reply bUT that didn't work it was on all tvs other then that we had a great time we spent for our anniversary

This was your second winter staying at El Matador and yes it was GREAT the other snowbirds are great and all the different events are fun. Were in the top unit building five and we can see not only the beach but the sound and the boats all day long already booked for next year and many more to come. Unit makes you feel at home and are every comfortable

The condo was very comfortable for us. There were a few little things that are usually supplied that were not, like dish soap and coffee filters that we had to make a special run for, but that is not that big of a deal. The other little things were racks that fell and came out of the wall when using, like the towel rack in master bedroom and small shelf by sink in the same bathroom...small repairs needed, so they can be used. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and had a good vacation.

Enjoyable Weekend Away
My family has not stayed on the Island in a long time. We were in town for a family get together. We loved having both Gulf and Sound views. Watching the boats early mornings and evenings was so nice. It was also convenient to have access to luggage carts. It made arrival and departure a breeze. Very much enjoyed the pool and spa. Very close proximity to our condo. Great beach location at end of Island. No overcrowding and very friendly beach chair/umbrella service. Condo comfy and very quiet. Loved being at the very top. Thanks for sharing your home. We plan to return.

Winter escape
First year as snow birds from Minnesota and we found El Matador clean friendly and well kept grounds pools crystal clear We had a perfect view of the active sound and just a short walk to the gulf Several events provided to meet our neighbors Well we return next year you bet already booked Thank you El Matador
