We have stayed at El Matador many times over the last 20 years but this was the first time staying in Building 5. We weren't disappointed! The view from this room was beautiful. The room looked like it was recently renovated and they did it right. No over the top decor. Clean, roomy and tastefully done. The only improvement needed is a larger bed. There is room for a king. Even so ,we would definitely stay in this room again if the opportunity arises. And as always the El Matador grounds were immaculate. Well done!

Wonderful unit. Well done and seemingly larger than it is. May need to look at the fan in the family room area. It sounded like it was going to break away from the ceiling when run on high.

We have been coming to the El Matador for 3 decades! And our stay never disappoints!! Always super private even when it’s busy! Nothing beats that gorgeous private white sand beach! Also it’s the last condo in the strip! So private beach as far as the eye can see off of the board walk... the condos come well stocked with anything you would need to cook and shower... BRING QUARTERS!! Each building has laundry rooms it’s &1.50 a wash and $1.50 a dry! Super cheap and convenient when staying for more than a week! This condo was cute and spacious fairly updated... the only issue we had is one outlet seemed to be broken and wouldn’t charge a phone other than that... PERFECTION! Soft bed nice large bathroom.. LADIES PERFECT LIGHTS FOR MAKEUP 8 BRIGHT WATT BULBS YOU CAN SEE ANYTHING THAT NEEDS PLUCKING!! A small sliding door that can be opened and closed from the master to get to the bathroom as well as the main door to get to it from the living room.. the balcony provided gorgeous sunsets over the bay and there was dolphins swimming and playing almost every evening behind the mint green house off the balcony... WHEN WE RETURN NEXT YR WE WILL BE OWNERS.. After 30 yrs we are looking to purchase a condo in building 4! You will love your stay at the el matador and you will love this condo! Super clean and well maintained property enforced quite time from 11pm-8am which is perfect during spring break... TRUST ME FOR $1200 a week you can not go wrong hell for 2000 a week you couldn’t go wrong with these condos!! So exclusive so private... close to the track and putt putt, the big kahuna, 4 awesome places to eat right down the street and 15 mins from Louisiana Lagniappe!!! If you want 1&1/2 lbs of crab legs for $40 you can’t go wrong with AJs!
