El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more!  Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.

Age Requirement:  NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

2022 family vacation
Great place to stay. You feel safe and secure. The whole area is very clean and well kept. Our condo was beautiful. We had one issue with the sink but the maintenance man was quick to fix it. Thanks for having us.

My First time and really enjoyed my time at the El Matador. Beautiful view from the Balcony(would have been nice to have some higher chairs or Bar Stools to see over the railing easier at the beautiful beach and Ocean). The Team at the Front Desk were very helpful all week and Security Team was also very Friendly! Will definitely come stay again at the El Matador! THANKS for a great Experience!

Much needed time at the beach
This is our second stay at El Matador. The room was great. The beach even better. Love that your the last condos on the island, which means theres like 27 miles of beach that, being owned by the Air Force, doesn't have shoulder to shoulder tourist. We always had our own “private” beach. Just minutes from Destin, but a lot cheaper with less people you've got the perfect spot. We've talked about going to other places, ie Gulf shores, Panama City, but I asked my wife “Why risk it? We know we're going to have a great time at the El Matador”. We look forward to many return trips.

Love El Matador
We have been coming to the El Matador for the past 20 years. Would not stay anywhere else. 452 was very dated and would not rent it again. We will be back.

We Loved It
The condo was perfectly fine for our needs. It’s definitely not updated but both beds are great. The kitchen could use some sharp knives in a block set. Clean enough and accommodating enough to make all of us happy. Can’t beat the view of the ocean and pool. We’ll return again.

Staff were great to work with. We loved the location, having no condo buildings to the right of us - just open beach. The only inconvenience was the laundry. We have never rented a unit without a washer and dryer. Although the coin machines were on the floor unit, it was not accommodating as you had to pay and leave your unit to do laundry.

We had an amazing stay with you!! The condo was clean and well kept. Everything inside was just what we expected!! The view was amazing, and we were close to everything. The access to the pool was easy and safe, and we were so close to the beach! We have found our new favorite place, and without a doubt will return to the El Matador!!

A Great Vacation
Even though I had a head cold the entire time we stayed at El Matador, the accommodations were comfortable. In fact, I'd rather have a head cold in such a wonderful setting that back home in New Jersey. Everything worked, the condo was comfortable, the staff was great. We will do it again.
