The unit is in a beachfront building is quiet and relaxing, above the sound of the street and pool level yet a close walk to all amenities and the wonderful beach. Elevator or stairway access raises your stay above the comings and goings at lower floor levels while providing panoramic ocean views.
The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you need to create great meals that can be enjoyed on your private balcony while you watch the waves hit the shore. Master bedroom has a king size bed with access to the balcony. The guest bedroom has one queen and one full bed.

El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

Great Condo
We booked out stay at the El Matador because we had friends staying there. Everything was great. The pool was very nice, the beach was awesome, our teens enjoyed the fitness center. I would defiantly recommend the condo we stayed in!

Great Condo
Great condo at the quiet end of the island. My group had a great time. Be careful with the stairs at night. The last step can be deceiving. Condo was clean and ready when we got there. Beach flags were usually up by 9 AM which was great timing for our group. Easy to find parking. Ladies want to return next year.

Great room and location
We had the best time. The king bedroom and bathroom is large enough to store most of everything without leaving the living crowded. Walking distance to beach could not get any better

Refrigerator issues
Nice unit. Only complaint: stayed 7 Nights, followed instructions on fridge door, fridge would never work properly. Had to keep food in coolers. This must be an ongoing issue due to note on door. Beautiful facility, friendly staff, shame no lined Pickleball courts as advertised. Unit this nice should have working refrigerator.

We stay at El Matador all the time when we come to Florida the property is the best. Room 440 is a ok room just might need to update it with furniture but I would stay there again.

Lovely Stay
We greatly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was well stocked and comfortable. We loved how dark and cool we could keep the master bedroom - that, along with the comfy bed, made for some great nights of sleep after our days at the beautiful ocean. We would love to return sometime!

Great vacation
We loved at our stay at El Matador! The views & room were great. Only complaint is the oven. We used the stove top several times, but never could get the oven to work. It’s a Samsung SmartThings so we watched videos & read online, but found nothing to help. Nothing on the touchscreen would work to help me connect to it with the app the video suggested. I’m sure there was a trick we were missing! Would definitely stay again

I always love staying in Larry's condo #440. I love it. I loved his renovations in the kitchen. I really lucked out to get the week last minute when I really needed it. My previous reservations had to be cancelled due to the hurricane in the Carolinas and called him, just in case his condo was open during my fall break. It was!!! Unfortunately, when I called the next day the office personnel informed me that Larry's condo had been rented for my dates since last June/July and proceeded to rent me a different smaller condo. When I called Larry tell him about his mistake that his bigger condo wasn't available on the dates, he insisted on looking into the situation. He called me later to tell me that he had fixed the situation. His condo was indeed available and rented for me. When I showed up last Saturday, after driving for about eight hours, the gate watchman notified me that I did not have a reservation on any list. I was able to call Larry quickly and the matter was resolved with the front desk rather quickly. We were able to get in the room and to enjoying our room and the spectacular weather!!! We will return for many years to come!!!!!!

El Matador is our ONLY choice
We LOVE staying at El Matador!!! The office staff is so friendly and go above and beyond helping you select the right unit to accommodate all your needs. The property is extremely maintained and the 24 hour security provides you with a safe feeling, especially in our recent visit traveling without husbands. We love that the beaches are not overcrowded and there are plenty of shopping and restaurants available within a short driving distance.

AWESOME place to stay .. employees were super nice ( my husband had a flat tire and maintenance went and got an air compressor and helped him ) ladies at front desk were super sweet and helpful. The grounds were so clean and well kept up. Our room was great ( very clean ). Thank you so much .. We definitely will be back !!! ☺

We were more than satisfied with the unit. This was my 2nd time to stay here and I hope to be able to return next year. I feel this was the most restful and peaceful vacation I have ever had. We all loved it and didn't want to leave. Thank you for everything!

We enjoyed our stay! We have stayed at El Matador approx. 15 times. Only critical thing I could say is about the shower heads in both bathrooms. We did visit the main desk and the lady at the desk put in a work order, and the guys were very prompt and came to the room to fix the shower heads. Both men were very personable and nice. I believe the hand held units that were placed in the unit are too big for the tub/shower.

A quite Respite

Great Condo
My wife and daughter and me have had a great time today and couldn't be happier with our choice of units. We drove all night and were exhausted this morning when we arrived. They were very friendly in the office and got us in by noon. By then we had our second wind from the drive and we stayed out all day. Went to Floyd's for supper tonight and really enjoyed it. Earlier we visited the the dolphin and sea lion show at the gulf aquarium. After supper my daughter buried me in the sand on the beach up to my neck. I had a great time with her and it meant a lot.
