This one bedroom unit is located on the third floor of building four. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and everything you need to prepare a great meal when you don't feel like eating out. The bar area opens up to an expansive dining / living room area that overlooks the pool and Gulf. The sofa opens to a sofa bed that will accommodate 2 comfortably. Wake up each morning in your king size bed that overlooks the Gulf. The full size bathroom has a walk-in shower with a bench for sitting. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

We love staying at the El Matador. It's are go to place for family vacations. Stayed in 435 this year. It was our first time not on ground floor. It did not disappoint!! Waking up, walking on the private balcony, just breath taking. Perfect view of the ocean. We even seen dolphins while sitting on the balcony. We definitely recommend 435!!! See y'all next year El Matador and thank you for all the wonderful family memories!!!

Winter Getaway
I have vacationed at the El Matador for 30 years now (OMG). My grandfather spoiled us when we were younger and I guess you could say it’s home. I’ve never had a disappointing trip. I’ve been during tropical storms, peak summer, post oil spill, you name it.. and yet, none of those times have been “bad.” This year was no different. My husband and I planned an end of year impromptu trip and I was overjoyed when he suggested the beach. It was COLD, but the sunshine and cloudless sky and oceanfront condo view were PERFECTION. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Our condo was perfect. We’ve stayed in 435 before and loved it- and that hasn’t changed. The updates the Snyders have made are absolutely gorgeous. In fact, I’m booking next week for our trip in June. The El Matador is our home away from home. We have (in our early 30’s) already planned to retire here and nothing can change our minds. Thanks for another amazing trip! See y’all in June!

Home away from Home
We have been coming to the El Matador for over 6 years now and have never been disappointed. The grounds and the beach area are always kept up. Except I did see more cigarettes on the beach than usual this year, but otherwise we love this place. Our condo is very nice, comfortable bed and love the dark out curtains. I would love to come more than a couple of weeks. I just LOVE it and it feels like home!

We really enjoyed our stay in the lovely room 435. The only complaints would be the cabinet that is falling off by the pantry, and the poor water pressure in the shower. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay. The bed is SO comfortable and we loved the lay out of the room.

Our Stay at Unit 435 - El matador
What an enjoyable stay. Unit 435 was everything we could have hoped for - clean, tastefully furnished and well equipped. More like someone's home than a rental unit. The staff and grounds at El Matador continue to impress us. Our go-to place on Okaloosa Island.
