Spacious dining / living area with new living room furniture looks out to the courtyard and pool area with the Gulf of Mexico in the background. All new furniture in the master bedroom will allow you to sleep comfortably in your king size bed while you listen to the waves crashing on the beach. Guest bedroom has a queen size bed and all rooms have flat screen TV's. Book this unit quick because it won't last long!
El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

Nice condo
Overall very nice. But…. -the day before we left there seemed to be an influx of people and there was NO parking. -We specifically arrived by 4:45 on Sat, 4/6 because I was told the day before there would be someone in the office until 5 o’clock. But when we got there, the office was locked and they were gone for the day. Since we had never been there it would have been nice to have someone answer questions (which was why we got there before 5:00) - It would be really helpful to have the packet of info we got when we arrived beforehand along with a list of ammenities provided. It would have been nice to know in advance the cost to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella was $45 because we would have brought our own sand chairs. (And $45 is not a nominal fee) Unfortunately, we hit a week of bad weather, which was our bad luck , but all in all it was great!

Beautiful updated condo
Our recently renovated unit was more nicer than we could ask for. Warm, comfortable, and inviting,beautiful decor, comfortable beds and furniture throughout. Well stocked kitchen with modern appliances for making meals. Perfect patio furniture to see the great view of the gulf. Very appreciative to have been able to spend the winter months there in such a perfect place to stay and enjoy!!

We're Coming Bac!
We love this unit! Not only is it super cozy but it has recently undergone a full renovation so everything is new and fantastic! The views are spectacular and it’s just a few steps away from the softest sand I have ever felt. We are most definitely coming back.

The condo was clean, comfortable, easy access to the pool and the beach. Great beach view on the balcony. The pool was kept clean watched the grounds crews each morning doing such a great job and the ladies at the desk are super friendly. We will return…again!

Family Vacation
We love staying at El Matador, this was our 5th time staying here, it has the best location. The weather was perfect, the water clear and we found a lot of shells. We had a great time. We will choose El Matador again. Until next time.

Our Vacation 5/8/21 thru 5/15/21
El Matador is one of our favorite vacation spots. We enjoyed the Layout of 422. Two bedroom. We did have some problems with a toilet Flushing but we’re able to work it out. One of the kitchen chairs had a leg That was broken. All the security, maintenance and checkin personel We’re very helpful. We will see you next year Sally Compton

Just a few comments: overall, we enjoyed our stay. Sliding door to balcony would not lock, so Safety issue when only in 2nd floor; broken toilet paper holder in master bathroom; no working DVD players in unit, so we had two disappointed kids who brought some movies; huge water bug or beetle issue- killed several in unit.

Enjoyed the stay. Two year old grandson had a great time at the beach. Wish it hadn't rained so much but being right on the beach we could duck back into the condo when we needed to. Next time I'll get a unit higher up than the second floor for a better view although it wasn't bad from our unit.

Would absolutely recommend to other
I was very impressed with rental of Unit 422. It was very clean and in good shape. The complex itself was thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my family with superb access to beach.
Ft. Walton Beach is not my usual Florida beach vacation spot due to its lack of direct flights from the Northeast but it was well worth the extra effort and I would definitely be back in the future.
The only issues with Unit 422 were minor in nature such as the ceiling fan in the living room missing the on/off pull chain, the living room sliding glass door frame was separated on bottom upon arrival but I was able to fix that with no further issues for entire stay and some of the sliding door blinds needed to be replace. Very minor issues.

El Matador Condos
This Condo was great! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful view. Everything was clean and the beds are very, very comfortable. Just a few yards away from the ocean! We loved it and will be going back. Because these are the last condos on Fort Walton Beach the beach is much cleaner than other condos. You will not regret renting this unit.
