To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

It was Awesome to be back at the El Matador, a place my father stayed at for years going to his AC-130 Gunship reunion. My family came down to FWB for the burial of my dad at PNAS. We rented 4 rooms and everyone loved the resort the rooms and awesome beach, we are now going to make it a annual event/family reunion. My wife and I were in 350 and loved the views of the beach,sunrises,sunsets !!!!! Thank You Very Much Sincerely Mike Cinko

Fabulous Family Vacation Spot
We love El Matador. Been staying there for years and already reserved a room for next year! I would give an excellent rating, except this room could use some updates. The sofa and recliners are newer (thank you!), but the bathrooms aren't great. I also wish that there were two double beds in the guest room (or at least one with a twin). The tv in the guest bedroom is tiny (looks like a computer monitor). A decent tv only cost about $200 and would make a huge difference. A couple of the outlets need to be fixed. With that being said, we CHOSE this room for its location. This is our 5th time to stay in it. Would be staying in it next year too, but my nephew booked it before I could!!!

Great room, great location, great view. The only issue that I had is that the refrigerator in the room did not work very well. It only kept things slightly over room temperature even when on the coldest setting. Other than that, it was great.

The cleanliness of the unit was excellent. It was a great improvement since our visit to the same unit last September (2018). There were two problems that were reported to the office. 1 problem was the blinds missing from the sliding glass door had not been replaced since our last visit (2018). That was a privacy issue as you could see directly into the master bedroom if you were to walk up to or near the sliding door. We found some slats under the master bed and replaced them but that is not a permanent fixture as they come down when you open the door. The other problem was that the garbage disposal did not work - My husband tried to get it working, but was not successful. I informed the office but also told them it was not a big deal as we would only be there a week and did not expect to have much need for it. I have one suggestion that would be helpful to the guest upon their arrival. It would be nice if the icemaker was on so that ice would be available immediately upon arrival. There were 3 ice trays in the freezer and that would have been sufficient but unfortunately the trays were empty. But, it was a great week and we would reserve 416 again. Look forward to seeing you at El Matador again this summer.

Nice unit. We own a unit but needed more space for our growing family. Only thing I would change is the blinds for the sliding glass doors. Very old and sensitive. Over all perfect for our family.

Perfect location
This unit is only a short walk to the beach and steps from the pool and grills. Step off the patio and there is a large grass area for children to run and play. We really enjoyed our stay. Nice family atmosphere and friendly staff at El Matador have us coming back yer after year.

We had a great time the weekend we were there and the unit was better than expected. However, 1 complaint. You should change the rules where you can drink, esp a beer, when in the pool. This is why i didn't rate excellent. Also on a different note. You should change the name of resort. El Matador is kind of cheesy. You should change it to "The last resort" since it is literally the last resort on that stretch of beach. Thanks

Fabulous Vacation
My family could not possibly express how much we enjoyed staying here. The room was perfectly located giving us easy access to the beach and pool. We loved the convenience of the ground floor and still had a great view of the ocean from the patio. Also had plenty of access to outdoor grills which we used almost every night. All of our needs were met. LOVED Courtney in the office. She was so courteous and had a great sense of humor. She made us feel so welcome upon our arrival. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Great location with Children
Children love this ground floor unit. The patio seems to extend because of the wonderful grass outside the door. This affords more room to play and the kids can run off excess energy while you relax on the patio. Very short walk to the gazebo or the beach. There are some updates to be done such as wallpaper needs to be taken off and paint the walls a cheery color so it looks more beachy. Also the ceiling fan could not be turned off.

First time ever to experience a group of drunks on the beach then they went to the pool. We quickly removed our grandkids from the area to escape their foul loud language. Later that evening the security guard came by. I guess others were complaining as well from all their language and loud noise on their patio. This has always been one of our favorite places as it is good for families. Hope it will continue to stay that way and keep the "bad boys" at bay.

Service is Great!
The service at El Matador is always great. This is the first time we have been in 416. Location is good. Only bath and half may be problem for some renters. We have already booked same unit for next October.

Enjoyed our stay very much. The accommodations were clean and matched the description provided on-line. Great views of the beach and ocean'from the back door. Room location was amazingly close to the pool and beach access. Gym and sauna were merely a short walk from our front door. Only negative was the locks to the sliding glass doors facing the ocean had deteriorated from the salinity in the air. Caused a bit of a security concern.

Return to El Matador

Everything was just Great!! We couldn't have ask for a more accommodations then we received. You all made our Honeymoon stay a most memorably one anyone could have ask for.
A special thanks to Lindsey Dargusch for all the help and changes that had to be made for us due to scheduling problems we went through. She showed great compassion and caring through out our stay.
We would recommend anyone that is planning a vacation to visit your location, and are in hopes to plan another vacation with you all in the future.

Great location & nice unit
We really like 416. The location was great & the bed was very comfortable. The only negative is the A/C does not work as well as other condos (we were part of a large group). We never set it below 72 per instructions but it didn't feel like 72 to me (we set it much higher at home). It was never terribly uncomfortable for us but people who really like their A/C may not be happy.

Worth every penny
By far our best family trip to Florida. The view and unit location were exceptional. The unit itself was a little dated, but I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The staff was very friendly. Our 4 year old daughter did not want to leave! Great condo's and a beautiful beach!!!
