This unit has a completely renovated, fully furnished kitchen that has everything you need to enjoy a great meal. Living room has tremendous views of the Gulf of Mexico and the large gulf front pool. All new flooring throughout the unit. There is also a great view from the master bedroom which has a king size bed. The guest bedroom has two twin size beds. Relax on your balcony while you listen to the waves hit the shore and watch dolphins swim in the Gulf of Mexico.

Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

Great snowbird season
We love Fort Walton Beach and El Matador. The views are wonderful and the unit is nice. However, there are some upkeep needs like the balcony is a little rundown and the screen door off the living room is cockeyed despite being fixed by a custodian. The screen off the bedroom is very hard to open and close. Some electrical outlets also are a concern as they pull out when you remove an item. Also, we saw cockroaches on three occasions, twice r last week of February. But the bottom line is we love 366 and can’t wait to return next winter. And the office staff was extremely helpful every time we had a question.

Also, we only had one high chair on the balcony. We had two in 2023 and that was nice. This year either my wife or I would have sit on the Lowe chair where you can’t see the gulf. That you.

Family vacation
We had an amazing condo we had more than enough room for the six people we had we probably could have brought a few more people and been comfortable it was clean quiet in the view was spectacular I've never seen anything like it we were able to watch the dolphins play from our balcony I will definitely be coming back!

A fantastic stay!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. We loved hearing and seeing the ocean from the balcony. The beach was never busy and being next to the uninhabited beach meant a lot of family walks and exploring. The staff was very friendly. The gym was well furnished. We didn’t ever use the pool but they looked nice. We also appreciated the security. I will gladly recommend El Matador to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Another great vacation
We have been coming to El matador for several years now. We always pick a different unit. Unit 366 was as good as any we have stayed in. As always thanks to the front desk staff for being great as usual. We are already planning our next trip.

We were very pleased with El Matador. The staff was amazing. The unit was extremely clean. Access to the beach and pool were excellent. We love the family friendly atmosphere. The only reason we didn't give an excellent rating was the unit was a bit outdated. But we would definitely stay

Great place
I traveled to the area from Miami to bring my family for a short vacation. El Matador was excelent in all areas I look for when traveling: Service, location, amenities and price. The apartment was big and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The view from the balcony was stunning and we had easy access to many places we wanted to visit. Also, the price was reasonable for the location.

Nice place. Beach access was great. Staff was friendly. Room was nice EXCEPT the electrical outlet receptacles all seemed loose and ready to fall apart. Shower drain was also plugged with hair, grime, etc from previous tenants. Shower didn't drain well. Other than that, we all enjoyed ourselves at the El Matador.

5 days of bliss
We had a wonderful time. Facility exceeded our expectations. We will stay with El Matador again. Have stayed at other condos on the island, but enjoyed yours very much. For the price it can't be beat. Thank you for a wonderful 5 days.
