The living room also has access to the spacious balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and one of the two pools at El Matador. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and two twins in the guest bedroom with TV's in both bedrooms. The master bathroom has a tub/shower combo and the guest has a walk-in shower.

To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

Paradise for snowbirds
El Matador has been our go to beach condo for the last twelve years. We hope to keep going there for many more years. The wonderful people are the main reason for returning. There are over 200 diverse restaurants in Fort Walton Beach. There are activities for young and old and we were never bored.

Our stay was wonderful the condo was clean, well equipped in the facilities were excellent. They had a situation where they had to stop take people out of the pool and re-clean it because someone had an accident and they did it quickly and swiftly as not to interrupt everyone’s day. We definitely will be coming back in.

Enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly. Our Condo was clean and comfortable. All the comforts of home. The kitchen was well stocked. The patio furniture was comfortable and the view spectacular. We will be back!

We always have the best time at the El Matador, and this summer was no exception. The condo kitchen was supplied adequately with things to cook with, the furniture was comfortable, and the view of the gulf was amazing.

El Matador is our favorite Florida vacation destination! This year was our second year to stay in unit 363. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! If the Lord wills, we will stay here again in the future.

Perfect vacation
We have stayed at El Matatador for our vacation for 13 years. We keep coming back because we love everything about it. Room 363 was also one of the best condos we’ve ever stayed in. It is nicely updated. We love the open concept of the kitchen and the kitchen had everything we needed. It is well stocked with pans and everything you need for cooking when you are away from home. The views from the condo were amazing and it helped that we had a beautiful week. Every day was in there mid to upper 70s. Also, people were very respectful and socially distanced because of COVID-19. I felt safe. Again, it was an amazing condo for the week! Thank you for sharing it with us!

The space was very nice and well furnished with almost everything we needed. Our only complaint was that the floor there was dirty, although one would not know unless they walked with bare feet. There was also quite a bit of sand on the floor. I know this place is right on the ocean but we weren't sure if the floors had been vacuumed before we arrived. Anyway, it was a nice place and we would stay there again.

Another good vacation
Unit 363 was great. The whole area is a lot less crowded in October. The view was good and everything was clean as usual. The staff was eager to answer any questions we had. I can’t wait to get back. When I do go back it will be my 5th time. I would suggest maybe that would qualify me for some free rentals with the sunset beach service.

My room was beautiful and very comfortable with a breathtaking ocean view. It had a well appointed kitchen. The only negative I found was a very dirty tile floor. It looked clean to the eye, but our feet were black after walking on it. The floor looked new, so maybe it hadn’t been cleaned well yet. I had a very enjoyable vacation.

The condo was great! And the view was amazing! Only one very small issue - the dishwasher door was very noisy when opening or closing. I would love to stay in this same unit again in the future.
