El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

All was clean & fresh. Only issue was the screen off the master bedroom was off and leaning against railing. I phoned it into Amanda (rental office) for a work order.

Unit 358 is a very nice unit, view is fantastic. Furnishings are very nice and kitchen has everything you need . I would have rated this unit above average except the living room and master bedroom drapes are pretty bad. The first bedroom need room darkening curtains or drapes. Overall a very nice unit. This will be the first unit we check to see if it’s available

We have stayed at the El Matdor several times. All stays have been excellant. The unit we were in this stay was great. The showers had grab bars and seats. This was good since we are seniors. I recomend the El Matador highly.

We loved our stay! The condo was beautifully decorated and clean. The view from the balcony was perfect. You could see the gulf perfectly from the living room and bedroom. The grounds were beautifully kept and it was quiet and family friendly. It was our first time to Fort Walton and to El Matador and we will definitely will be back!

Amazing!
We spent a full week here and it was perfect. Only recommendation for improvement I would suggest is a new bed in the master bedroom as this one was sinking in a bit but really no big deal at all. The condo was beautiful and the view from the balcony was incredible. Highly recommend 358 and we will look for this same unit when we come back next time!

The unit was well-stocked with everything a family needed; lots of cooking utensils, extra bed linens, etc. My only complaint was the master bed was way too soft and not comfortable.at all. Also, the heated pool was not very heated during cool weather.

I came for a quite retreat for rejuvenation. This was indeed the right place to come. The condo was wonderful! The view from the condo was awesome. The beach was incredible. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We had to call the office one time for a minor repair. Someone came to the unit within the hour and made the repair. This was a vacation experience that I hope to repeat.

Best Ever!
Upon arrival security and check in staff were very pleasant. Our room was very nice, all was clean and ready for us. We loved that fact that there was a laundry facility just up the hall and a kitchen ready for use with utensils and appliances. Our view was spectacular from the 5th floor. We greatly enjoyed waking early in the morning to have coffee and watch grounds maintenance prepare the pool and the beach. The grounds, pool, and beach were very well maintained. The beach was beautiful, the water was clear, and I love that El Matador is the last condo on the beach. It was amazing to be able to walk down the beach in solitude taking in the sunset. Even though we were the last stop on the beach, dining and activities were still close, no more than a 10-30 min drive depending on where you want to go, and what you want to do. My family and I had a spectacular vacation at a reasonable rate. 10/10 from us. :-)

Very pleased with our stay. Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the property amenities. Nice, well kept facility overall, would def stay here again. Only complaint we have is that the elevators seemed to have a mind of their own at times. Otherwise, everything was A+!

Review for condo #358
This is the first time that we have rented a condo. We loved it. It was nice to have an ocean view and be able to walk to the ocean without getting in a car. The beds were comfortable. 2 things that could be improved on are the shower doors. They were hard to push and came off the track easily. I had to call my husband to open it for me once. I was afraid of breaking the glass. One of the floor fans kept going up/down in noise. Don't know if it could be a fire hazard or just needed blown out. I was going to tell them about these 2 concerns when I turned in the keys. However, we left on a Sunday and no one was in the office- only a drop key box. I would recommend this condo. It was well worth the price we paid for in the off season.

Could not have found a better place to stay. View was fantastic. Just a little heads up to bring tp,papertowels, and trash bags. We had to make a quick trip to store.

Lovely gulf view condo
Very well furnished and equipped. Nice view of gulf. Would definitely request this condo again. Only suggestion would be for 6 dining chairs and a few more pieces of silverware (forks and knives). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there

Excellent Vacation Spot!
Really enjoyed our stay at El Matador. The grounds are well kept and security walked the grounds every night so we felt very comfortable and relaxed the entire time. The staffing was helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was very clean and had everything we needed including the gorgeous view. Highly recommend El Matador as one of the great places to stay in Ft Walton Beach. Thanks for a great summer vacation. See you next time.:) The Moore Family
