The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and is fully equipped with everything you need to cook for the family. The dining area seats 6 comfortably. Relax in the spacious living room after a long day while you watch families swim in the pool below and the waves crash to the shore of the Gulf of Mexico. The master bedroom has a king size bed and private balcony access. The guest bedroom has 2 full size beds and views of complex and Fort Walton Beach. Both bathrooms are full bathrooms with walk-in showers.
El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

My second visit to El Matador.. I love it.. it’s so peaceful.. and the units are beautiful and clean.. everyone is nice and accommodating.. I appreciate the maintenance giving my disabled mom a ride back to the front entrance of our unit .. they didn’t have to do that .. she’s a lung cancer survivor and gets winded easily.. so thank you for that amongst everything else .

Updated condo with great views
Overall, I’d say that our stay at El Matador was excellent. The grounds were clean and very family oriented. Condo 349 was updated as pictured. The kitchen was equipped with most of what we needed. The beds were comfortable and linens were clean. The only draw back that I didn’t think was a big deal is that there are no washer/dryers in the unit. We knew this ahead of time, but I didn’t think it would be a big deal. Using coin laundry and taking hours out of your vacation to use public laundry is a waste of valuable time. No one wants to do laundry on vacation, but it’s nice if you can throw on a load of towels and leave. I would suggest that the facility invest in plumbing for in unit washers and dryers.

The unit was beautifully updated. We enjoyed everything about the unit. Our only problem was the brand new stove keypad was locked and we could not turn oven on. We unplugged it and then it worked the first day. The second day the oven turned on fine but keypad locked and we could not turn the oven off so we had to unplug again to turn it off. This was our fourth year at El Matador and our favorite room. We will book this room again!

Another great experience
This is our 2nd year coming to El Matador. We absolutely have loved staying in the updated condos with a fabulous view. We will be back every year.
