The living room has direct access to the large balcony and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room that will accommodate 2 people. The bedroom has a king size bed and ceiling to floor windows that offer a great view of the Gulf of Mexico.

To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

Excellent Stay for Fall Break
We recently stayed in unit 344 over Fall break and it was absolutely perfect! It was our first time visiting El Matador and we had the best time. The unit was recently renovated, incredibly clean and comfortable. It was just the 3 of us and we had plenty of room but there was enough sleeping space for 6 people. The property was well taken care of, the pool was cleaned every morning, and the office staff was very friendly. We can't wait to come back over the summer or fall break next year and hopefully stay in the same unit!

Great room and trip
We had a wonderful stay at El Matador in room 344. The room had recently been updated and the owners did a great job It was very clean in the room and the maintenance staff did a wonderful job keeping the grounds clean as well. We will definitely be back in the future.

Luxury!
When we opened the door to #344 not only were we amazed by the ocean view but also by the elegant and airy decor. The condo met all our needs and we couldn't have been happier. It was so nice waking up to the sound of the waves, heading to the beach for the day and then coming back up to the beautiful cozy condo for watching movies, working a puzzle, and eating a nice dinner. We didn't want to leave! We've stayed at El Matador several times, but this was definitely the nicest unit we've ever stayed in and in the future we'll always try to reserve #344.

We had a very nice stay at the El Matador. We are repeat customers and look forward to our next stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they have always addressed any issues quickly. As I understand it the property is starting a food drop for guests to leave unopened nonperishable food for donation, this is a great idea. I have 2 suggestions that I would like to submit: 1st: A drop box for kid's toys would be nice for families to have. This can be for sandcastles or small wake boards. Keep the amount minimum so it does not get abused. 2nd: A larger military discount might be appropriate. It can be tied into repeat customers to make sure you are getting long term value and pricing for your owners. Thats it for me. Im looking forward to my next visit and thank you to the entire staff for making our stay "excellent".

RESTful stay
We have stayed many times at El Matador with our children over the years. But, this is the first time in twenty-five years that it has just been us. Relaxing on the balcony or at the beach, it was a perfect stay.

Had a wonderful time visiting the El Matador, that being said our units bedroom ceiling fan did not work causing a hot nights sleep. I will definitely be back loved the family atmosphere.

Great stay
Terrific view. Nice open layout. The kitchen could use a few more cooking items. There were two electrical outlets that weren't working. Also, seemed kind of dark. Still, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Best location ever!
I didn’t realize I had this email until checking for my confirmation receipt for the trip coming this July. My family went in august of 2021. By October, we had our next trip booked. We did change to a room with a second bathroom, our first had one. Two teen girls and two adults can’t share 1! Lol. Can’t imagine ever even trying somewhere new

Perfect beach experience!!
Absolutely LOVED our vacation!!! Condo/facilities more perfect in person! All staff very nice! Loved that this facility is located at the very end of the beach as it felt more private! Loved that the pool stayed open later. Very family friendly!!! Will definitely come back again!

Great Place to stay on Okaloosa Island
My 3 daughters and I loved staying at El Matador and the view from Unit 344 was amazing. Everything was perfect. We loved that the beach and pool were right outside our building and a heated pool just a short walk away. I hope we can come back again soon.

We always enjoy staying at El matador. This was our first time in unit 344, since we usually stay with my mother in law, which was spacious and well kept. A few additions that would be nice: - (1) extra set of sheets - blankets: the master only had a sheet and the thin comforter - more basics: for a family staying a week, it would be nice to not have to purchase toilet paper or paper towels. 4 per unit seems more realistic of those items vs. the 2 we were given. The only issue with the unit was the sliding door. It was challenging to open and close it. Thank you!

Great weekend
We got there and did not like our room. The staff worked very hard to get us in a better room that was much closer to the beach. We had a great weekend. We love el matador!
