    El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more!  Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.

    Age Requirement:  NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

The unit was nicely updated , would have been nice for the icemaker to work in fridge so we did not have to purchase ice and the only pans they had to use were old and worn out . It was one of the better El Matador units we have stayed in though thank you and easy check in and out .

El Matador 338
Condo was excellent. All of the kitchen appliances were new and the bedrooms were well appointed. The new master bath was super nice with the walk-in shower. My only negative was the gorgeous palm tree that blocked part of the gulf view. I guess you can’t have everything.

Dramatic price increase
We love the El Matador. We have been customers for 28 years. The prices seem way too high this year. We had some friends not go because of the huge price increase. They also took away the discount usually offered to regular renters. I know that prices do need to increase as the years go by…. Just wondering if you all stayed full with reservations for the months of June and July this year? Susan R

Loved the location and the view was pretty good. Unit was very clean and comfortable. Balcony furniture needs to be replaced, and a smart TV would be a great improvement. Will definitely return in the future.

Comfort and Style
We were quite comfortable in 338. Plenty of seating and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed during our stay. Slept well in the master bed. Current master bathroom fixtures/wallpaper could use an update. Overall, we enjoyed the decor and appreciated the way old and new blended together. Floor fan did not work. Several outlets are loose in the wall. Master sliding door did not lock/latch. Good view from the balcony. We would stay in this unit again. Thanks for having us!

Feedback on Stay
First time staying at El Matador and we will be back. The check in/out process was efficient with great communication. Rooms were clean and tidy. The only recommendation I would make is to equip the room with some staples - coffee packs, coffee filters, salt, pepper, aluminium foil, paper towels, etc. Not much, just enough to get people started. Lovely facility. Very clean.

Enjoyed our stay at El Matador. Too bad that the weather wasn’t warmer. Facility was nice and everyone in the office was very helpful when we arrived. A little pricey but I am sure that is a seasonal thing.

We had a great week in unit 338! Only recommendations would be the kitchen sink faucet needs to be replaced and the master sink is tricky to get it to turn all the way off. The handle has to be pointed to the right or water drips. Otherwise the condo was great, we loved the decor. Thanks!

Good stay and enjoyable time. Sliding patio doors seem to take a lot of wear and are hard to open and close. Screen door would not stay on. Pool is very nice when the ocean is rough. Rental process is always easy and gate guards are helpful. Last year we got a SPA key and this year we did not and it wasn't until we were leaving we found out the gate guard has the key now. Not a big deal. We are already booked for next Sept in 428. Hard to find couples oriented units 2 kings, 2 queens or mix. Would be nice to be able to sort by bed types on website. Always a good time! Thx. Manager's Response: Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are sorry that you received bad information regarding the SPA key. We do have a spa key for each room that you can get from the rental office when you check in. If you check in after hours, please stop by the next day to pick up the key.

Best Vacation Spot ever
I love staying at El Matador. I've been doing it since 2012 and my family has been going for even longer, it's amazing! Best location for beach goers, close to gift shops and restaurants. Friendly front office staff. Beautiful condos that have everything you'll need to enjoy your vacation. I'll never stay anywhere else!

We enjoyed our stay at the El Matador #338. The condo was clean and just as it looked on the website. There were a few problems, broken glass on nightstand as well as very dark master bath. Other than that the condo was great. We would rent this condo again. Manager's Response: Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay. Great place to vacatio
When I arrived, the condo front office was pleasant and very accommodating. The condo was very clean and had all the comforts of home. Kitchen was perfect, big screen TV's were wonderful updates too. Will definitely come back.
