The kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal when you are tired of dining out. The living room has a queen size sofa sleeper and a large flat screen TV wih Blu-Ray and new recliner purchased in 2022. You also have access to the balcony from the living room. The master bedroom has king size bed with a flat screen TV and Blu-Ray player.  New mattress for this bed purchased in 2022.  The guest bedroom has a queen size bed with a flat screen TV and Blu-Ray player.   This unit has recently been renovated to include new flooring, appliances, bathrooms and furniture.
 

El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more!  Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.

Age Requirement:  NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

We have stayed in 269 the last 2 out of 3 years that we have stayed at El Matador. We absolutely love this unit and everything it has to offer. The one and only complaint is about the mattress in the master bedroom. It is sooo uncomfortable. I was forced to go buy a foam mattress pad because I was waking up in such pain from it. Please please upgrade that mattress to something new and this unit would be absolutely perfect!!

Above Average
Loved the condo but wasn’t real happy with the kitchen…the utensils still had food on them (spatula had egg dried all over it) and the pans were in awful shape and really need replaced…the Teflon was so scratched I was scared to use them. The view from the windows was amazing though! This was our second year and always book for the following year before we leave so I chose a different condo for next year. Excited for next year!
MANAGER'S RESPONSE:  Thank you for taking the time to review your stay and let us know about the issue you had with the room.  The owner is replacing all of the pots & pans and we have contacted housekeeping about the utensils so that we can make sure this does not happen again in the future.

Great View, lots of artwork
Great view of the beach and complex. Comfortable bedrooms. Could use better water pressure in Master Bath, and a little less artwork. Overall, the Unit fits our expectations and we enjoy staying there.

Nicely Remodeled Unit With Great Gulf Views!
This unit has been recently remodeled and is very comfortable. There is a great gulf view from the kitchen window as well as from the balcony. It may have been the best unit we've ever stayed in at the El Matador. I would highly consider renting this unit again!

Perfect family vacation
Simple check in and out procedures. Beautiful grounds. Amazing views of the beautiful beaches. The room was perfect for our family of 4. Very up to date and clean. Everything we needed for a home away from home. Reasonably priced! We will definitely be returning.

Decorated beautifully. But reported to management 2nd day of a week stay we were unable to use master bath due to water backed up. Was frustrating for 6 people.no one came

Love 269!
This is our 2nd year in 269 for spring break. Very comfortable, well appointed unit. Love the additional windows on the side. 2 complaints - too much furniture/art work. Could be simplified. Plumbing in master bath needs repair. Entire structure is loose.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVED IT!
This is our second Summer Vacation at El Matador and 1st time to book #269. We were extremely pleased as usual. The furniture, the appliances, EVERYTHING was perfect with the unit...as for the resort itself, staff and security friendly as always and the grounds were clean and comfortable. If you are looking into this location its a MUST and close to everything. I have no regrets and look forward to our 3rd Summer Vacation at El Matador and we are definitely booking #269! Thank you for making our vacation AMAZING and MEMORABLE!

We loved our stay at 269 Matador. This was our first time here. I would have rated our unit as excellent, but it really needs a deep cleaning. The furnishings were gorgeous, great views, friendly staff.

Comfortable Condo
My family was very pleased with this unit and El Matador. It was generally quiet and nice a spread out. The unit itself is newly re-done and very comfortable and homey. Every window had a view of the Gulf, which was a great addition. There were a few things such as the dishwasher is not secured and there is an outlet that is not fastened over the hole in the smaller bedroom. These things did not at all take away from the wonderful stay.

Wonderful rooms, very clean and updated. I would suggest less furniture and wall hangings, and better lighting wattage. Very satisfied with unit. Have already booked again for 2019.

The unit was great, nice and quiet, and just the right size for the 4 of us. We would definitely stay in that unit again. The front gate guards were very friendly and helpful. And thanks to Courtney, who went out of her way to let us dummies back in after we locked ourselves out. Great customer service, hope you enjoyed the flowers.

Wonderful!!
Unit 269 is like staying in a brand new model room. Everything is new! The beds were comfortable, including the sleeper. The TV were super sized and the kitchen equipment (stove, refrigerator, pots, pans, measuring cups, etc) were new as well. Our sincere thanks go to the owners who invested in making this a 5 Star unit. This was better than home!!! A shout-out to the guards who were always friendly and helpful. Best vacation rental!

Absolutely beautiful unit!
First time staying in 269 and we were blown away by how beautiful this unit is. Love the flooring. Love the decor. The bathrooms are very nice. Beds slept comfortably and the TVs in the rooms are huge! All appliances are up to date. The panoramic views are breathtaking. The view out of the kitchen window alone will blow you away. Perfect size balcony to enjoy. Will try to stay in this unit again in the future. Highly recommend!

Wonderfully fresh decor
Newly renovated with light and airy decor! Beautiful tile in both bathrooms, and all throughout the unit. The unit was wonderfully stocked with all the necessary kitchen items you would need. We loved this unit, and will definitely book it again.
