To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

Great place
This was a great place to stay while we were at a cheer competition. It was convenient and more than I expected. I would recommend this place to all my friends to stay at in the future.

Well maintained unit, clean. sturdy since tornadoes past by and my only complaint was the rattling on the roof above the bathroom. Pretty scary being on the 6th floor but all was well. Owner was very easy to deal with and office personnel were friendly.

Comfortable and beautiful
This is one of our favorite units. Everything works! The decor is tasteful and soothing. Kitchen is supplied with most anything you need to prepare meals. Good shades on windows. The balcony is small but adequate and the view of the ocean is great. Two large beds are very comfortable. Lots of places to put your stuff. The grassy commons area between the buildings is very pleasing. Thanks to the owners and El Matador for such a nice stay!

Fantastic stay!
El Matador was just wonderful! We used every single amenity offered and enjoyed them all! The only complaint is that the lights don’t work on the tennis/basketball court and then sun sets at 7pm so we would have loved to play after that, especially on the days that were too hot to play mid-afternoon. The grounds are pretty, and the beach is gorgeous and spacious, bring the last condo on the island. There’s no other place on Okaloosa Island that we would want to be. Our condo has everything we needed, comfortable beds, clean, updated, etc.

Nice unit. Could use more skillets in kitchen. Nice having trundle bed in 2nd bedroom. All beds were comfortable. Nice having Air Force base next to condos so have less people & condos.

Just right!
This condo was one of the best we've stayed in (we have been coming here since early 1980's). Every appliance worked. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the cooking pots were in very good shape. Everything was very clean! Plenty of places to put your own stuff. Two words for this condo: Comfort and Thoughtfulness. The owner had everything to make the visitors feel at home. Thank you!

We were very pleased with our stay at El Matador! Loved the location and privacy, the room had an amazing view and was clean and the staff there were super friendly and helpful. We will be booking our vacation for next year at El Matador!!

This was a very nice unit to stay in. The photographer made it look bigger than what it really is, however, we really enjoyed our stay. The only concern we had was that the water pressure in the shower was low and the drain was backed up somewhat. The pictures of the lounge are deceiving because there is a fee to use those. The workout facility and pool areas are super. We traveled with the youth softball team and we're very happy with the stay.

Relaxing vacation
My family of 6 was very pleased with El Matador. Our room 268 was the perfect place to view sunsets. We loved that there were no buildings to block our view.
The 2 pools were very nice.
The beach was perfect.
And our condo 268 was all we wanted it to be.
The staff we saw at El Matador were friendly.
We will recommend El Matador to family and friends.

Love it!
The place was beautiful and staff very nice! I love how you flew the Flag half staff to show your support!!! Great American Way! I will definitely come back in the future! Security Guards are so very sweet and never once did they not mention for me to have a good day/night. Felt right at home!!

Very nice condos
I liked having a guarded entrance. The condos were clean and pretty. The only problem was that 268 had no knives at all except dinner knives.
