El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

Beach Vacation
It was our first time at El Matador for our Fort Walton Beach vacation. We really enjoyed our stay. The property ground up-keep was clean and well maintained. Access to the beach was just a short walk from building #2 and it was beautiful throughout our stay. The interior of our unit was a little dated (kitchen and bath), but it was a lovely unit and we thoroughly enjoyed. The balcony has a beautiful view of the ocean.

Perfect for a short stay!
As described the unit is outdated. It is the second building from the beach so you still get a little view. The only down fall of the room were no ceiling fans but it was perfect for our 3 night stay. El Matador is in the perfect location and close to everything. We will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is fabulous. Tons of things to do within a few minute drive. The reaort itself was oeaceful and not overcrowded during peak spring break season. Perfect for our family with small children and teens. Condo was perfect! Amazing view with comfy beds. I did have to borrow a broom from my mother at her condo in another building because there was not one in the tiled condo. But if thats my biggest complaint, i really cant complain

The balcony has a beautiful view of the ocean! The interior is a little dated and could use some freshening up but, it is a lovely unit and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Summer Vacation
We rented 2 condo's here this year and we had a awesome time. We enjoyed the beach and pool. The only thing we not able to take advantage of what the hot tub because it was in another building.

We didn't bring beach chairs because I read where they where included... besides that we loved the place!

Great Place
We had a wonderful experience except for the hot tub they have a mans and women's and co ed is only a few hours a day and I think its stupid you go there to spend time with family and relax needless to say we did not use the hot tub at all but that was only downfall I saw the pools was fun and well maintained the walkway to beach was kept clean the room was very nice and the staff was wonderful

The Wonderful Staff!
The wonderful staff are what made our stay at El Matador a lovely one. They consistently went out if their way to be supportive. The condo itself was just perfect for our needs. I highly recommend El Matador.

Great stay
We enjoyed our stay immensely. El Matador provided a family atmosphere and our children made many friends from different states. Our condo was clean and very roomy. My only complaint was the television in the living room kept going black and, at times, would completely shut off! We didn't watch much, but when we did it would have been nice to have a TV that worked.

Spring Break Condo
Every detail of my experience with Terry and the fine folks at El Matador in Fort Walton beach was terrific!
My kids had a ball! The facility is clean well cared for and abundant with things to do. From the heated pool to the gym and sauna , to tennis and basketball to the pristine white sandy beach... nobody even mentioned the words XBOX! :)
I will be vacationing again there this summer.
