Enjoy beautiful views of the courtyard and Gulf of Mexico while relaxing on your patio.  This unit has convenient access to the tennis and basketball courts, both pools, the recreation building and the sugar white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. It has been recently renovated to include new flooring, paint, countertops and furniture. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to prepare and serve meals.  The primary bedroom has a king size bed and the guest bedroom has a queen size bed.  There is also a twin sofa sleeper in the living room. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more!  Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.

Age Requirement:  NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

Enjoyed our stay
We would return. Although it’s older units- they were maintained well. The proximity to the beach and the pool were wonderful. The grounds were clean. The beach was not overly populated so was very relaxing and chairs/umbrella rental very affordable. Condo is convenient to many restaurants and a Walmart and easy access to going into Destin. The mattresses were so comfortable and the unit was quiet. It is a secure property with checks at the gate to access. I most definitely will return.

Great location, Great accommodation - We're going back!
We kind of wanted to get away for a long weekend close to Destin, but avoid the Destin traffic. El-Matador was the perfect spot. Located at the end of Santa Rosa Blvd, next to Air Force property, eliminated all the traffic that comes with this part of Florida, but with easy access to the great restaurants and attractions. We toured the Naval Aviation Museum on one afternoon and had great Italian at Ali’s Bistro for dinner that night. We shopped Sandestin in the morning and had fresh seafood at A.J’s for lunch. We stayed in Unit 152 at El Matador. This unit #152 was recently completely refurbished and updated, had great views of the Gulf and an artistic touch. The beds in both bedrooms were more than comfortable and gave a great night’s sleep. Bldg 1 is located close to the weight room, saunas and hot tub that we made use of every night. Long story short, we’ll be back for another stay in #152 at El-Matador.
