This unit has been completely renovated and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a great meal. The spacious dining area seats 4 comfortably. The living room has a large flat screen TV with DVD player and has balcony access that offers great views of the courtyard and Gulf. The bedroom has a king size bed with new mattress, flat screen TV and also has access to the huge balcony. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a spacious sink area. Relax and enjoy all this great unit has to offer! Free Wi-Fi available.

To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.

El Matador and Condo
El Matador management was great. Very accommodating. Gym was great and updated. Condo had updated kitchen, well stocked with everything, great shower in bath and air conditioning was excellent. Would suggest for rugs and furniture to be updated. Would have had a more refreshing smell and cleaner furnishings. After being there more than a few days, it was noticeable that it needed new upholstered furniture, bed, bed linens and updated window treatments.

Loved the area The only thing that I would suggest is that the owners replace the vertical blinds. Great pools and the ocean was beautiful but a bit rough a couple of days.

Fantastic time!!
I was down on vacation for a week with ten other families all staying on the property. Some rooms were better than others, but I was extremely happy with mine! It was clean, updated (granite countertops, new stainless steel refrigerator and dish washer), and nice view of the ocean. We had breakfast on the balcony each morning at a cute table and chair set. I'd absolutely come back and, if possible, reserve the room I just stayed at.

We really enjoyed sitting at the high table on the deck while eating breakfast and lunch. It had a postcard view!! The unit was nice and had everything we needed. The Kierig coffee pot was very handy.

Overall very good.
Unit 144, located in bldg.1, second floor. Had a good view of the ocean. The unit itself was very nice. The king size bed was very comfortable. However the fitted sheet was much too wide thus causing many wrinkles. Probably not a problem for most people but I have nerve damage and my back it ultra sensitive. Kitchen has two coffee makers. One is a 12 cup and the other is a single serve Keurig.The A/C was very good. We were very happy with this unit an at the last minute tried to rent it for another week. Sadly, all units were booked. We will reserve this unit again if available.

We enjoyed the property. The buildings and grounds were very well kept and clean! We enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and the tennis and basketball courts! The view from our room was wonderful!

Enjoyed our Stay
I enjoyed room 144 very much. Great room however the master bedroom ran warm overnight and the bed was uncomfortable. I love the El Matador still and will continue to stay yearly.
