The Beauty - take in the gulf view from the patio deck that is shaded and cool in the morning and then watch the sunset in the evening. The Difference - ten percent of rental proceeds will be donated to organizations such as Bright Hope Int'l, Compassion Int;l and Samaritans Purse for care of children and relief projects around the world. This family friendly unit has a reclining sofa, 50" flat screen TV & sound system, full sleeper love seat, TV/DVD player in each bedroom, board games, movies and more. A Pack-n-Play, umbrella stroller, booster seat and small assortment of toys are also provided for our guests' convenience. Please bring your own sheets/blankets for the Pack-n-Play. All beds have gel memory foam toppers for a great nights sleep. The kitchen is well appointed and includes dishwasher and ice maker. Beach chairs and other beach items are also provided. Free Wi-Fi and Cox Cable.
El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

This is the second time I’ve been to the El Matador and also the second time I’ve stayed in room 141. This is the perfect family spot I love it here. I will probably always try to stay here when I come to fort Walton.

Nice condo!
The condo was nice. The master bath floor was a little dirty along the floor edge of the bathtub. Also, the toilet in the master doesn’t flush very good. Had to have the handle replaced once because it broke. And as far as supplies, there were no extra trash bags in the kitchen or any paper towels and dishwashing liquid. Those are pretty much necessities I would think in a condo. I wouldn’t think we would have to buy those immediately. Also, The TV in the master bedroom did not work. It would be nice if there were instructions on how to use the remotes also.

Amazing girl's trip
Unit 141 was the most peace filled space I have stayed at in El Matador! I've been coming for over 30 years, so I have stayed in many units here. The decor was beachy but not tacky beachy. The unit has been recently updated and it is beautiful and very comfortable. This is one of my favorite places to stay while at El Matador! I hope to be back next year!

We absolutely loved it in 141. They had everything we could possibly need. It was so well taken care of and we enjoyed our stay! Only bath part was the hot water didn’t work well but we made the best of it because everything else was amazing! We will definitely stay there again. We were beyond impressed! ❤️❤️❤️

Had a great time.
We always love our trip to Fort Walton Beach. Condo was great. Might need a new toaster though. Burned everything no matter what setting. Easy fix. Condo decorating was super cute. Thanks again for a special time at the beach!

Unit 141 was great, we loved it. It was decorated nicely and it had everything we needed. I would love to stay here again. I highly recommend El Matador. The grounds were neat and clean.

Good location
Nice cozy condo. Good location. Master bath needs updating, floors hurt bare feet. Good ocean view. More towels & beach towels would be nice, as flying with those is tough and nobody wants to have to get a $10 quarter roll to do laundry one load at a time. Chairs would also be a great perk, since they are so pricey to rent. Comfy couches and master bed, nice to have extra fans too!

Our room was excellent! It was nice and clean and beautiful. Definitely a great spot for the price. The private beach access was great leading to a beautiful beach. Pool was lovely. Definitely will recommend. Would love to come back.

Our stay at ElMatador
It had been years since we have stayed at El Matador and we had a wonderful time. Our unit was lovely and clean. We were not able to get the DVD player in the family room or the ceiling fan on the patio to work but that not not inhibit our vacation. 4 night stay
The condo was very nice. Had everything we needed. It wasn't the closest building to the beach but still close enough. We could see the beach from our balcony but to far away to hear the waves. The little porch was great for morning coffee or sunset and wine.

A Wonderful Stay at the El Matador
I was born and raised in FWB. After moving to TN two years ago we were coming to be tourist for the first time. I found a great deal at the El Matador. Although I had performed many beach weddings there I had never been in any of the condos. This was a trip for four teenagers. It has been an A+ experience. The condo was decorated beautifully. The beds were so comfortable. The balcony had a table and chairs where the kids played cards. There were excellent movies and games for those down times. The kitchen was supplied with anything you needed to make meals. We spent time on the beach as well as two different pools. The beach chair company was so nice. We even rented kayaks and paddle boards from them also. EM is the last condo on Santa Rosa Blvd and then you have nothing but open beach (the military owns it but you are allowed to use) so it is less crowed than being sandwiched in between two larger condos. The office and gate staff were friendly as well as the permanent owners you run into on the elevators. I would 100% chose the El Matador as well as condo 141 to stay again. Being from the area and the 100s of beach weddings I performed while living there, FWB has the best beaches (vs Destin or PC)

Beach Bums Dream
We highly recommend El Matador and this unit. The condo is comfortably furnished with many amenities, including a pack n play and some toys. The pools are refreshing and not too crowded. The sand on the beach is the best and the water is a lovely blue/green; and being at the end of Santa Rosa Blvd leaves plenty of room to spread out on the gorgeous beach. Sure you have to drive to restaurants, but the extra room on the beach is well worth it.

Spring trip
Complex is very nice and location is private and away from the more tourist areas. Transportation is required but it is a fair exchange for the quiet area. Our unit was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The complex is secure as well and staff were cordial and helpful. Highly recommended.
