The master bedroom has a king size bed while the master bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub/shower combination. The guest bedroom has 2 twin size beds with as walk in shower in the guest bathroom. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

Everything was so nice! We enjoyed our stay! It would be nice to have Hot Tubs at both pools! Not enclosed. Just my opinion we loved the grounds ! Will be back for sure’

Quiet, clean, beautiful
El Matador never disappoints us when we vacation here! This was our third time staying here and we have stayed three times at Waterscape. We have concluded that we prefer El Matador over Waterscape because of the quiet space at El Matador. We enjoyed the addition of pickleball this time! We hope to be back again soon!

Quiet, great service, attractive, entertaining, clean, reasonable
This is our second year staying at El Matador 139. We had a great experience last year, so we wanted to come back again this year. Our experience this year exceeded last years experience. We arrived at 7:30 a.m. and since our room was ready, the management allowed us to have our room. This gave us a bonus day to our vacation! Other properties don't often allow early entry. The staff is always friendly, courteous and helpful taking care of any issues in a prompt and professional manner. El Matador is an old establishment and the rooms are dated, but this has not changed our experience while staying there. Ours has been very clean and comfortable. As a hobby photographer, I really love the architecture and the white buildings and fences along with the stately palm trees surrounding the pools. It all makes for attractive photographs. Last year we visited during one of the popular spring break weeks and the property was quiet. We came two weeks later this year and had the pools to ourselves. Lastly, we love that El Matador is at the end of the beach as there are quiet fishing spots just beyond the property's edge. Thanks for the lovely accomodations and for our comfortable stay at El Matador 139!

PHENOMENAL service and accomodations
We had a slight hiccup upon our arrival, but it was very QUICKLY handled and dealt with so there was a very MINIMAL inconvenience. I was thoroughly impressed with the kindness, courtesy, and capability of both the security staff and the front desk personnel. I have stayed at El Matador before, but will definitely mark them as a MUST for future stays. The carts for groceries was very helpful will stocking the kitchen for our 5 day stay. Additionally, the washer and dryer on the floor was very convenient. The entire atmosphere of the property was extremely pleasant. THANK YOU ALL for making this family trip memorable.
