The spacious living room has a large flat screen "smart" TV with comfortable seating for six and a hide a bed. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, flat screen TV, and private access to the bath with double sinks. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed. El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more!  Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.

Age Requirement:  NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

We enjoyed our stay
Our room was ready at 12:00 PM and we were pleased with that. Our favorite pool adjacent to the office was closed due to broken generator/pump but it was back online in a couple of days. Overall we were pleased with our stay, thank you.

Our stay
We have stayed here before but in another unit. However this unit was just as good. I loved it and we really enjoy our stay every time we come to El Matador. The only downside of the unit was the 1 bathroom but it was not a big issue. Best place to stay hands down and the other residents, staff and visit are always so nice! We’ll definitely be back and planning to make this an every year for Easter spring break trip.

Well Maintained Property
My grandparents used to come from Chicago and stay at the El Matador for a month during the winter in the 70's. So, we decided to give it try. We don't like overcrowded areas and since this property was situated at the end of all the congestion of condos and hotels, and adjacent to miles of undeveloped beach owned by the Air Force, we thought it would provide the peace and quite we desired. And we were very satisfied. During our 3 day stay we found the mix of permanent residences and rental guests to be quiet, friendly and respectful. The unit we rented was very clean and well appointed with furnishings and kitchen/dining supplies. The A/C was "ice cold" and we even had to turn it up. The overall property was very well maintained and the building groupings were well spaced providing plenty of outdoor space and separation amongst guests. The parking lot was huge and provided ample parking for us and our visiting guests. Lastly, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our family would definitely book again in the future.

The condo was well maintained. I loved the short walk to the beach. I was very grateful that they gave me a refund due to leaving early due to what was happening in the news. This would be a first choice if we return to Okaloosa Island!!

This unit was exceptional clean. The owner of this unit has done a great job at making sure you have everything you need. The unit is perfect. The security lady is so helpful and sweet. The grounds are well maintained.love it love it.....
