Just walk out your sliding door to our large grassy area and the beach just beyond the courtyard. The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you need to make a great meal for your family when you want to eat in. The living room has a sofa sleeper and a large flat screen TV. There is balcony access from the living room. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a full bathroom with a tub / shower combo. The guest bedroom has two twin size beds and a full bathroom with a tub / shower combo. Free Wi-Fi available

To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

Another perfect vacation
This is the second time we have stayed at El Matador with our baseball team. Everything was perfect!!! The condos, service, grounds and beach are exactly why we came back for a second visit.

Love staying at el matador with its private beach! Definitely a bonus to be on the ground floor and enjoy the lawn. It’s a short walk to the beach I highly recommend it!

Above Average
There was a little bit of damage but nothing that distracted from our stay. All the staff that I encountered from the office to the guard shack were so nice. The grounds and facilities at El Matador were great! I enjoyed my beach and pool time. Only suggestion for the condo that I have would be blackout curtains. Florida sun was right on time at 6 every day. Also maybe some instructions for the electronics in the living room. I will be dreaming of the beach until next time

Everything was good until the day of checkout
The condo was as described. The floor needs to be mopped better, but it wasn't unbearable. The lounge we used for our reception was perfect. The only issue we had was the rude clean up person who was yelling at my teenager about removing some trash. Even after he explained to him that his parents were on there way back. He definitely should have waited to speak with an adult because one of the condo's rules is that they don't rent to anyone under 25 and he clearly looks like a minor. I spoke with the manager who was very understanding and apologetic. I recommend El Matador and will consider staying in the future.

Unit was great
We enjoyed our stay at the El matador - unit 118. We loved the beach being so close. We have 3 kids and it's awesome not having to walk far or load them and all the beach stuff in the vehicle every time we wanted to go. The pool was amazing, felt like a luke warm bath. (I hate ice cold water ♂️) All in all the stay was amazing!! Definitely recommend !!!

Great Condo!
Our family loved this condo. We had a blast at the beach and pool and really enjoyed playing games on the big grassy area in between all the condos. We'd definitely come here again.

My stay at El Matador
The person that took my reservation was very friendly, polite, and professional. The location of the complex was nice because it is right on the beach and at the end of the strip so the volume of traffic was low yet it was close to most of the vacation attractions. The room was very comfy and clean. I would definitely recommend El Matador to my friends, and it will be the first place I will try to book the next time I travel to this area. It was reasonably priced. I stayed in a two bedroom two bath condo for less than several hotels in the area wanted for one room one bath.

The stay was excellent
The stay was excellent, with one acception.
The floors were nasty in the condo. It seemed like the cleaning crew only swept the floor and did not mop the floors. The soles of our feet were very dirty. So we wore shoes inside during the stay.
We will be back again. Oh yeah!!! During the 4th of July celebration. I guess it is ok to have fireworks on the beach. Because a bunch of people were firing them off until about 2am.

Loved the grounds and the area. My only dislike is not having a washer and dryer in the unit. We talked with an owner and know the reason why there cant be. We had a great time. Thank you.

This was our second time to stay at El Matador condos. We will continue to book our vacations there. The staff is awesome, the condos are clean and comfortable, the pools and pool areas are well maintained.
