This beautiful ground floor unit in building 1 offers easy access to parking and our large grassy courtyard where your children can play at their leisure. This unit is centrally located so you are close to all the amenities El Matador has to offer. The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you need to create a great meal. The dining and living room is spacious and accommodates 6 comfortably. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the master bathroom has a walk-in shower. The guest bedroom has two queen size beds and there is also a walk-in shower in the guest bathroom. Free Wi-Fi available

To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

Loved El Matador, needs some improvement
We absolutely loved our 1st stay at EM. The location, the grounds, the mostly empty beach next to us and the amenities were awesome. It's c ery clean and quiet. We loved the feel of the place. Room for improvement areas: Our condo was dusty, cobwebs and carpets look dirty. Doorwall lock is broken, so a broomstick locks the door. The outlets are very loose, so your cords don't stay engaged. We really, really would like the lights to work on the tennis courts. Evening comes early in Florida, so that is the best time to play tennis or pickleball or basketball with our teens. Please fix your lights so they work! We would recommend EM to anyone and hope to come back.

Last Minute change of plans ...
We have a family vacation each year at another condo in the area. Due to hurricane damage, the property shut down for the season to do repairs and remodel. My wife, sister and brother in law needed to find another place because rest of family stayed at Marina Bay and there were no units available. I found El Matador as a last minute booking for a 2br. The booking process was easy and the property management company was very helpful with answering questions. The unit we rented for the week was perfect. Plenty of room for 4 adults. The kitchen is nicely equipped although there is no fan over the stove, so you my want to avoid frying foods. The oven worked great! I put 2 pork butts in the oven for 9 hours and it fed a family of 25 (at another location. We did not have enough time to use amenities but did walk the property a few times and it’s very clean and accessible. The beach was gorgeous. Overall the unit is showing some age with dated design and electrical quirkiness but would stay here again. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The security on the property is an added bonus for peace of mind. For a last minute booking, this met all our needs and expectations.

Another great year at El Matador
Unit 110 was very nice. We love the complex and amenities. If I had to make a suggestion, I would ask for smart televisions and a second elliptical in the gym. Overall,it was a wonderful vacation and I plan to be back next year.

The apartment was really large and the kitchen was wonderful. Access to the beach was very quick and safe. The beds were comfortable and the area was nice and quiet. The furniture was new and comfortable. A couple of areas that need improvement: Better washers and dryers, a new outdoor hot tub that is co-ed. Security of the site was also very good. I would stay at this place again. Price was good.

We enjoyed our stay in 110. We particularly liked the setup of the unit. Having enough furniture in the unit to comfortable seat and sleep our family was very important and so we were very happy with that. While enjoying our vacation we did discuss the expense of the trip. This was our second year at El Matador and we like the fact that it is closer than where we normally vacation which is in New Smyrna Beach, Florida near Daytona. The condo's in New Smyrna are very comparable to El Matador and the pool and beach area surpass El Matador's. While the pool at El Matador suffices it could use some updating and honestly needs to be larger considering the amount of guests at the pool. While there is another pool on the end of Unit 1 and 2 it isn't near the beach which is what most people enjoy. In addition, the cost at New Smyrna is between $1200 - $1500. We would like to visit El Matador again but when considering some of the differences we question whether to visit New Smyrna again. The condo's that we stay at is the South Easter Condo's if you would like to compare. Thanks
